School had reopen! Wahoo! Now i can meet all my friends again. I hope that this year, i can have a happy year and of course, pass my PSLE with good marks. Hope this will come true!
When Mrs Ho tell us told us that we were going to use the blog for some of the English subject, i was shocked as i type very slow, but through this activity i learnt a lot of things. I had also enjoyed doing it and would continue using blogging even after the lesson. If you ask me what i have learnt, these are the things~typing faster ,how to ues blog and many more. My friends can come to my blog to comment on it so i can learn from my mistakes and not to do it next time. The reson i like to blog is also because it is on the computer and i like to use the computer to do my work. I also think that we should maybe help our classmates by putting the homework on the class blog and so those who forget what are the homework or are sick can find out from there and do it so they will not get a scolding or have lots of homework to do.
I will live in the rainforest in Australia's will eat the fruits that grows on the trees there.I will also catch fish from the river there. I can pick long tree branches from the ground and use the stone there to make one end of it sharp so that I can shoot it at the animals that are not that big and can be eaten. I will try and bring a long thick rope and some thin clothing. I will also bring a tent. I will search the web about the rain forest and bring a few other nessercery things for me to survive there for one year.
Raffles, Sir Stamford Britannica Concise Print Article: Email Article: Cite Article Sir Stamford Raffles Sir Stamford Raffles is born July 6, 1781, at sea off Port Morant, Jam. and Died July 5, 1826, London, Eng. He is also the Administrator in the British East India Company and founder of Singapore. He joined the British East India Company at age 14, and his hard work won him an appointment as assistant secretary to the government of Penang (in present-day Malaysia). There he undertook an intensive study of the Malayan peoples, and his knowledge allowed him to play a key role in 1811, when the British defeated Dutch-French forces in Java. He subsequently became lieutenant governor there and inaugurated a mass of reforms aimed at transforming the Dutch colonial system and improving the condition of the native population. The company, which deemed his reforms too costly, recalled him; though he was popular in London (he was knighted in 1816), his authority when he resumed his service in Southeast Asia was severely restricted. Undeterred, he founded the port city of Singapore in 1819 in order to ensure British access to the China seas; in 1824 the Dutch relinquished all claims to Singapore. Raffles is credited with creating Britain's Far Eastern empire. The information I found above is from the website: http://concise.britannica.com/ebc/article-9376401
Personally, I also found that a lot of people like to call their children Raffles/Stamford.Raffles is also a part of a name of school and hotels. I think this is so because that they want their hotel/school to be popular. But for the children's parents I think it because they want their child to be like him (popular and adventurers).
My answer for this question is mabey something like Esther's as I got the answer from the same web as her's.Cloning is the creation of an organism that is an exact genetic copy of another. This means that every single bit of DNA is the same between the two!You might not believe it, but there are human clones among us right now. They weren't made in a lab, though: they're identical twins, created naturally. Below, we'll see how natural identical twins relate to modern cloning technologies. Those words that is different colour is links. If you want to know more about clone,go to Esther's blog and click on the link.
